Al Shirawi Solar was founded in 2016 to fulfil the group’s desire to be part of the UAE’s green sustainability programme. Our team of DEWA Shams certified solar technicians and electrical engineers are highly trained in all aspects, from design and approvals, to supply and installation of the latest solar PV solutions to maximise our clients’ ROI.

Typically a Solar PV system harnesses the below environmental benefits : Carbon credits – financial instruments where the buyer pays another company to take some action to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, and the buyer gets credit for the reduction. Cooling effect – The area beneath a solar roof installation gets cooling effect by 1 to 2 degree Celsius. This has additional positive effect on the monthly electricity billing to a client.

Financial Options
The biggest decision on switching to solar is not when to do it but how to fund it. Al Shirawi Solar offers three options to choose from:
Capital Expenditure
Stage payments throughout the process. Client owns the system and takes 100% of the savings generated from the 1st day the system is commissioned.
Lease Option
There is no up-front cost to the client. The client will receive a discount on their DEWA bill. However, the client does not own the system, the lease term is flexible - typically 15-25 years.
Lease to Own
The client can utilise the savings that the solar system generates to pay for the capital expenditure cost. Typical term is 5 years and thereafter the client owns the system.
